Tungsten carbide alloys provide a long lasting, wear-resistant option and are two to three times more rigid than steel. The material is perfect for ferrous wire production and has a very high resistance to deformation and deflection and its impact resistance is as good as that of some hardened tool steels.
Particle size is 1.2µ and our standard mixture is 6% cobalt. Alternate mixtures are available upon request.
We offer eyelets, ring guides and buncher guides for a variety of models of machines. We also offer solid tungsten carbide descaling rolls as well as custom designed tungsten carbide parts to complete this product line.
Guides and rings are polished to a mirror finish in the contact areas to minimize friction and we keep many sizes in stock.
